Ayyappan clinic was established in the year 2004 in Kundrathur near the bus depot in 100 sq ft area by Dr. A. Manikandan who is well known as a family physician. Later in 2011 it was shifted to the current location which is of 1200 sq ft area near the foothills of Kundrathur Murugan temple. It was developed into a multi-Specialty clinic with dental clinic, diagnostic center and in-house pharmacy.

Smile dental clinic was started in the year 2008 at Kattupakkam, Chennai by Dr. Shobana Devi in 2011 and was shifted to the current location, inside the premises of Ayappan Clinic. After which the clinic was upgraded with digital radiography, digital patient record management and lasers for dental procedures.

Mathi Diagnostic Centre is our inhouse medical laboratory which was started in 2012 offering full range of medical laboratory services to all our outpatients as well as walk in patients. We are equipped with semiautomated analyzer for blood analysis with reliable results. For the convenience of our patients, we undertake house visits.

At smile dental clinic we provide quality dental services for all age groups at affordable costs . Our dentists are qualified and experienced in providing dental care for patients with special health care needs . Recently we have introduced facial cosmetology consulatations in our clinic . We have EMI options for braces treatment. We have certified specialists to perform dental implant procedures.

Our lab is fully equipped to perform all biochemical , microbiological and clinical pathology tests. We undertake house visits also . We perform quality control on a regular basis on all our lab equipments .

Dr. A. Manikandan completed his undergraduate degree in 2001 at Annamalai University and completed his Master Degree in Sri Ramachandra University in 2007. He has completed fellowship in practical cardiology in 2009. He is currently working as Associate Professor in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur. He has a vast experience of 20 yrs in General Practice and is a renowned Family Physician. He Covers all specialities like diabetes, cardiology, paediatrics, geriatrics. He is well known for his patient friendly consultations. He is a life time member of the IMA. He has national and international publications in many speciality journals

Dr.B.Shobana devi completed her undergraduation at sri ramachandra dental college in 2006 . Then she pursued her masters in the speciality of oral medicine and radiology in the same university. She started her dental clinical practise in the year 2008. The clinic was upgraded with digital radiography, digital patient record management and technologically advanced dental equipments . She is well trained in the diagnosis and management of oral diseases and tobacco cessation counselling. She has a vast experinece in general dentistry . She is the managing director of Ayyappan clinic. Her indepth knowledge in examining radiographs helps her in providing accurate diagnosis and treatment plans . She attends CDE programs regualrly to upgarde her knowledge
